Bridgewater -Raynham
Educational Foundation

The mission of BREF is to promote, sponsor and enhance the quality of the educational experience for public school students and their school communities within the towns of Bridgewater and Raynham, Massachusetts at all grade levels irrespective of race, color, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), religion, national origin, or handicap. The purpose of BREF is to raise monies supplemental to those received from public sources and to distribute those funds to the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District. Teachers and school officials will be able to apply directly to the foundation for grants to benefit the students and community.

Embrace the rhythm of technology and let your creativity sing by joining us for the 2nd annual Bridgewater-Raynham Education Foundation Hour of Code event. This year we will focus on bringing together music and technology in a fun and creative way! Participants will explore interactive coding activities inspired by music, where they can compose digital beats, create visualizations, and even design their own virtual instruments. With additional themes and hands-on activities available, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re brand new to coding or have some experience.

Open to all ages, but perfect for those ages 6-13, this event offers a welcoming environment to experiment with coding while expressing creativity. Let’s get ready to learn, play, and make some music with code! Please bring your own device and headphones if possible.

The Bridgewater-Raynham Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that the grant application window is now open for the 2024 - 2025 Grant Program. We are looking forward to reviewing proposals which are due by January 2, 2025. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to support BRRSD teachers, staff and students with resources that are not funded through ordinary budgetary channels as well as encourage programs that enhance and enrich the curriculum. Teachers and staff at all the BR schools (preK-12) are encouraged to apply.

BREF grant-funded projects must be academic in nature or otherwise in support of student growth and learning. Our goal is to have successful projects disseminated widely across the district, touching as many schools, teachers and students as possible.
